Yes, you can use the free plan to get real-time subtitles. We also have paid plans that give you more features.
Vi Subtitle is a browser extension, with AI-powered real-time subtitles and translation, it's based on WebGPU and OpenAI Whisper 100% on-device.
Vi Subtitle runs the Whisper AI model locally on your device. We recommend Windows with 16 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GPU, or a Mac with Apple silicon.
Please make sure there is no problem with your network or proxy huggingface.co
We use the base Whisper model for speed. We may support additional models in the future.
